Kenrokuen gardens and Kanazawa castle are literally across the street. The staff was willing and helpful but spoke almost no English. However, with a few key phrases in Japanese communication can be achieved. Hotel was very quiet, has a very good (but small) restaurant. Only 2 choices for breakfast, so we ate elsewhere, but there are several nice coffee houses within walking distance. Beds were ok, not great, but the room was nicely equipped and squeaky clean.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They didn't speak much English, but they made an effort to assist me. The hotel had convenient and affordable parking, with a parking pass for easy in and out access. It was also conveniently located within walking distance to most attractions. The wired internet provided good connectivity.
Everything was spot on.

This hotel is conveniently located near popular attractions and the main streets for nightlife and restaurants. It is within walking distance or a short bus ride from the train station. the staff is friendly and attentive, always providing service with a smile. the rooms are spacious and have air conditioning, a bathtub, and free LAN internet. parking is available at a reasonable price and is located right next to the hotel's back entrance.
One negative aspect is that the hotel does not provide WiFi, but this is common in Japan.
